  Mt. Ashwabay Development

2011-2012 SEASON

The program this year will be 9 weeks, starting on January 7th and extending thruMarch 6th, 2012. We will have a race this last day for all participants’ who would like to race, with awards and cake after the races.  This program will be based on the PSIA and USSA learn to ski program with emphasis on goal achievement and progress recognition. The 9 week program will allow for greater achievement and ultimately better skiers!

There is a one-time registration fee will of $25/family. The program fee, which includes Full Day lift ticket, Lesson, and Rental, is $24 per participant per day, or $150/participant for all 9 Saturdays.   Registration is held in the Chalet at 9:30, and lessons run from 10:00-12:00.

The program and registration feesare waived for our season pass holders.  Season Passes are available online or at the chalet.  Don’t forget season rental is only $99.

Central to the success of this program is parental involvement and instruction. The “MAD SKI” program will be utilizing PSIA/USSA training for our parent/coaches. This is a great chance for everyone to hone their skiing skills and learn the latest techniques and tips to make skiing easier and more fun. We will have videos and DVD’s available at Stove and Upholstery Works for all parent/coaches to sign out and review at home. (We need more help on the hill working with the kids.) I will be willing to work with all parents on January 7th.  We will offer this year a half day ticket  price for any parent that helps on the hill and takes the afternoon instruction (first come, first served or as needed.)

We strongly encourage participants to stay for the afternoon and practice what they learned that morning, or relax and ski with their friends.

Full and Partial Scholarships are available upon request.
