Nastar Community Racing

NASTAR (National Standard Racing) is a great opportunity for participants of all ages to race a giant slalom course and compare results to others in their age category across the nation.  Race two runs for only $5 every Sunday starting January 8th, or pay a flat rate for the whole season.  Participants ages 12 and under race free due to the generous support from the Rychel family.  NASTAR is open to Alpine Skiers, Boarders, and Telemark Skiers.  Registration begins at 12:00pm with Cindy(The Nastar Lady) in the chalet.  Racing starts on top of Port Way at 1:30pm.  We always appreciate assistance setting up and tearing down the course, so arrive a little early or plan to stick around afterwards if you have time.  NASTAR Frequently Asked Questions.

Racing NASTAR is a great opportunity to have fun in a non-competitive atmosphere and practice what you have been learning in the M.A.D. Ski Program.  Accumulate points all year, because awards will be given at the end of the race season to the top three racers in each age group.
