Open access 24/7 with a trail pass. If you ski after dark, please use a headlamp and ski with a phone and a buddy!

VINTAGE APRES SKI PARTY: FONDUE & FURS 2026!

Join us for our annual winter fundraiser in support of the beloved Mt. Ashwabay—an evening that celebrates all things après, alpine, and unapologetically fun.

For one night, St. James Social transforms into a 60’s Swiss chalet–inspired après ski lounge, where champagne flows, fondue bubbles, vinyl spins, and winter glamour is fully encouraged. This is a cocktail-style, ticketed party designed for mingling, moving, and lingering—not a seated dinner.

Your ticket includes the fun, the food, and the music— access to shared fondue stations, DJ Erika “The Wolf” spinning vinyl throughout the night, and your first raffle ticket, with a built-in donation supporting Mt. Ashwabay.

Hit the slopes with your friends or bring the whole family for a day on the hill. Although we’re not the biggest mountain, our views of Lake Superior and our affordable pricing are hard to beat.

The Mt. Ashwabay trail system covers 40 km of classic and skate skiing trails near Lake Superior in Bayfield, Wisconsin. All trails are groomed and tracked regularly by our staff and volunteers. Purchase your trail pass online or at the chalet during open hours.

Loops on loops of FUN!!!! All marked Mountain Bike trails are multi-use, feel free to hike or run with caution. Bikes are not allowed off of these CAMBA marked trails.
