The runs held up well considering the warm weather mid week
We have gotten 3-4" of fresh snow. All runs except the Drop and Hemlock will be open this weekend. 6-12" of base. Tubing hill will open this weekend Since hitting 37 on Wed, which started to transform the snow a little, we got 3-4 inches of new snow on top. This evening we were able to get out and pack all of the trails, except for Oppedahl's and Birch Hill. Tomorrow am a crew is planning on going out and grooming up most of the trails.
Today I took a tour of the classic only trails. They were in good shape, except for Deerpath in a couple of the logging areas on the east side the tracks were drifted in a little bit. All things considered it skied quite well.
When I was out on the trail this morning, it was 28 degrees with the sun peeking out (balmy), but a bit on the windy side. With that trails were in good shape, except for some of the open areas were getting a bit of blowing snow. Get out and enjoy if you have some free time.
Today was a nice day of skiing. The trails were generally in very good condition, with just a few spots of some blown snow. With more moderate temps, lots of skiers out enjoying. Tonight we regroomed the Sugarbush Dog Trail. Tomorrow looks to be another great day of skiing.
