Mt Ashwabay Trail Network / CAMBA Trailhead

All marked Mountain Bike trails are multi-use, feel free to hike or run with caution on them.  Bikes are not allowed off of these CAMBA marked trails.

Mountain Biking at Mt. Ashwabay

The main trailhead is on the South (left hand side) of the road BEFORE the main gate, directly across from Sugarbush Road.  There is a secondary trailhead located of off Whiting Rd., where the powerline crosses.  It accesses the Hot Saw trail.

Biking is permitted only on trails designated with a Blue CAMBA Singletrack trail marker. We are working to develop quality mountain bike trails, and it’s important that all riders respect closures, whether temporary, or permanent. State law prohibits biking in the Nourse Sugarbush State Natural Area.

Helmets are not required, but are strongly recommended for all bikers. Though our "Mountain" might not be the biggest, safety is still of highest priority.

Mt Ashwabay's Trail system is designed, built, and maintained by Volunteers. Do you have a great idea, or want to be part of the Trail Crew? Please contact us.

We use donated equipment and Volunteer labor whenever possible. If you have earth-moving equipment, excavating equipment, or a tractor and would like to volunteer or donate usage, please let us know. We also welcome anyone willing to swing an axe, or dig in with a shovel.
