​The 8 plus inches of snow on the Ashwabay Fat Bike Trail was roller/flat planned tonight. It left a compressed layer of snow top of hard base. The trail is starting to smooth out.

With the dry fresh snow things might be soft but could freeze up tonight. Of course, it was still actively lightly snowing when I left. We will likely have to groom again.

Of note the ridge top trail which heads west from the ski hill from past years is mothballed somewhat. It hadn't been cleared nor groomed yet this year. I'm undecided about grooming it. I did track pack it for some ski/snowshoe single track adventures or a groomer change of mind.
