Happy Solstice! It's the "first day of winter", but I guess winter wanted to get a jump start on things.
The grooming crew will be dragging/rolling the trails today and tomorrow (Friday) as the snow continues to fall to keep it compacted. If you go out to ski in the next few days, please expect "adventurous" conditions- classic skis are recommended and there may not be tracks so you may have to break trail or ski in the tracks of others. Because of the weather, additional snow, and the holiday it is unlikely that much will be groomed over the weekend. It's possible that Abbey Rd and Anchor may be open for staking - check back for updates. Snowshoeing is encouraged on the Fat Bike trails, it helps pack in the snow, so if you want to get outside that is a good option.

Abby Rd, Sugarbush Classic, and Anchor are groomed and tracked. The storm brought down a lot of trees, the crew is working on clearing and grooming other trails. Come out this weekend and enjoy the winter wonderland!
Free trail passes on Sunday to celebrate Ashwabay's 75th anniversary!
