NORDIC: Wednesday morning Abbey Road, Anchor, Seagull, Seagull Cut-off, Roller Coaster, Jolly, and Skid Road were groomed and tracked. Tracks were set on Sugar Bush, Seagull Classic, Oppedahl’s, and N & S Lower Sugar Bush. Conditions are excellent with a 12-18” base. Groomers are out grooming Buzz and Northern Lights and we will update when they are done.
FAT BIKE: Groomed up the fat bike trail Tuesday evening (2/9). Most of the trail should ride like riding on rigid foam. Frim and squeaky. The first half mile from the trailhead sustained drifting. I tried my best to open it up, but beware of softer bits. Just thinking of it as a way to warm you up! Bundle up. Drop your psi. Down shift. Grind away the cabin fever. Our Alpine Slopes will be closed for the rest of the week. We will decide about Saturday and Sunday later in the week. Nordic and Fat Bike Trails are OPEN! Chalet will be open during the day to warm up if needed.
Monday new tracks were set on Deerpath, Blackbear and Seagull Classic. Abbey Rd, Seagull, Seagull Cut-off, Anchor, and Roller Coaster were groomed with new tracks set. Conditions are excellent with a 6-12 inch base.
The ski lifts will be closed this weekend (2/6 and2/7) due to the cold temps, and high windchills. We'll see you next week!
Thursday night the Classic only trails were groomed and tracked.
Friday afternoon Anchor, Roller Coaster, Telford, Beginners Loop, Abbey Road, Northern Lights, and Buzz were groomed and tracked. The conditions are excellent with 6-12 inch base. The lift is closed for the weekend, but the chalet will be open for warming and restrooms. |
