Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding Info
To prevent accidents from runaway equipment, Mt Ashwabay requires proper retention devices. Brakes or leashes are necessary on all skis and snowboards.
Helmets are not required, but are strongly recommended for all skiers and snowboarders. Though our "Mountain" might not be the biggest, safety is still of highest priority.
During regular season (post Holidays), Night Skiing is offered Wednesdays til' 7pm and Fridays, 4 'til 9pm. Only those trails and runs that are lit are open for Night Skiing.
Ski Patrol is on duty whenever the Chairlift or Rope-Tow are operating. Please speak to any Ashwabay Staff if you require assistance from Ski Patrol.
Freestyle Terrain at Mt Ashwabay
Mt Ashwabay's freestyle terrain is designed, built, and maintained by volunteer riders. Do you have a great idea for a new jib? Want to be part of the park crew? Talk to an Operations Team Member at the hill.
We use recycled materials whenever possible. If you have leftover plywood, long sections of pipe or tube, or a unique piece that you're sure we have to have, let us know.
