Our 'Little Hill' overlooking the 'Big Lake' has a great and storied history. With roots dating to the 1940s (or earlier, depending on whom you ask), we're proud of the fun and activity the hill has brought to the local community. 

For a long time,  our history has been scattered throughout the minds, memories, and photo albums of our many families and friends. Help us bring it all together, and share your part of the story.

We're looking to build a complete history of Mt. Ashwabay. The history will be shared on the walls of the Chalet, on our website, and on Wikipedia. If there is enough interest, we'd also like to put together a printed book, videos, or other media options.

​The information gathered will also help with grant writing and fundraising efforts for the Ashwabay Outdoor Educational Foundation, the non-profit organization that, since 2003, has operated Mt. Ashwabay.
