The Mt. Ashwabay trail system covers 40 km of classic and skate skiing trails near Lake Superior in Bayfield, Wisconsin. All trails are groomed and tracked regularly by our staff and volunteers. Purchase your trail pass online or at the chalet during open hours. 

Trail Hours:  Open access 24/7 with a trail pass.  If you ski after dark, please use a headlamp and ski with a phone and a buddy!

Trail passes can be purchased online, at the trailhead, Chalet, or Rentals office during open hours. During off hours, you are able to purchase a day pass via QR code at the Nordic entrance.
