I attempted to groom the Ashwabay fat bike trail today. It was not successful. I was able to track pack the entire trail and rolled a portion of the upper trail before giving up. There is a lot of heavy snow on the trail and it proved to be very tough for the snowmobile.

The trail is not rideable with fat bike at this time.

The groomers will discuss and update when there is something to report. In the meantime, the woods are beautiful and snowshoeing should be excellent! - Avery

​The Mt Ashwabay fat bike trail was groomed this evening. There has been about a week and a half of intermittent lake effect snow so it may be on the softer side. I gave it a double pass with the plow drag to try and get down to the firm base. The temps look good for getting out there this weekend!

​The Ashwabay fatbike trail was groomed last night. The snow was light and fluffy with more coming down. The trail surface may be a little soft but there is a hard base below from last week’s thaw and re-freeze.
