We wrapped up another Winter here at Mt Ashwabay, with a great afternoon of fun. Our Spring Carnival included an Obstacle Course, an Easter Egg Hunt, an Uphill Race, Cardboard Box Races, an Awards Ceremony, and great Potluck to finish. Thanks to everyone who participated. It was a great day, and a great Season!
Thanks to Volunteer Mike Jackson for some great pictures around the course. Thanks to Volunteer and Ski Patroller Steve Vizanko, who snapped some great shots.
![]() A giant THANK YOU to the Knights of Columbus of Bayfield Peninsula, who donated some shiny new helmets to the Ashwabay Outdoor Educational Foundation. Our 'Free-for-All' loaner helmets are a great success, and this is a great addition of XL helmets for big kids and parents to lead by example. Thanks also to Ski Hut in Duluth, MN for working out a great deal for the Knights of Columbus. |
