::Alpine Conditions:: -New snowfall (last 48hrs): a dusting -Base: 8-18 inches variable, machine groomed. -Chairlift and Handle-tow both open -Portway, Little Joe, D-4, Swiss Miss, Hemlock and Jodi's are all open; the Drop is waiting on a few more inches of natural snow. ::Tubing Conditions:: -Tubing lanes 1, 2 and 3 are open. Please be patient as fresh snow greatly slows down the tubes. ::Freestyle Terrain:: -A couple boxes, a low rail, and a few other features have been set up in the terrain park. -New snowfall last 24 hours: a dusting ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report:: -Skate: Sugarbush Dog Trail -Classic: tracked: we retracked the most drifted areas: Raven until Deerpath, Deerpath until Black Bear, Black Bear, the loop of Sugarbush Classic, and the Sugarbush Dog Trail. Comments: What we groomed tonight came out nicely. Think most of the classic only trails are in very good condition. A groomer is planning on going out in the morning to touch up the skate trails. ::Conditions::
-New snowfall last 24 hours: about 1 inch ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report:: -Skate: -Classic: tracked: We finished Sugarbush Classic, Black Bear, Oppedahl's and Birch Hill. Comments: It's pretty windy out there so some drifting is occurring, especially on the east end of Deerpath. Otherwise the trails are in very good condition. ::Conditions::
-New snowfall last 24 hours: about 12 inches ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report:: -Skate: Anchor, Seagull, Rollercoaster, Telford -Classic: tracked: Raven, Deerpath, Sugarbush Classic (to tin shed), Anchor, Seagull, Rollercoaster, and Telford Comments: Raven, Deerpath and Sugarbush were groomed last night, so there is 1-2 inches on the groomed surface. The skate trails we had to pack twice before grooming. I would still rate even the groomed trails as a bit on the soft side. Groomers are still out working on the rest of the trails. |
