Hi Skiers. Early Saturday morning Abbey Road, Northern Lights, Buzz, Jolly, Anchor, Seagull, and Roller Coaster were groomed with a new track set. A new classic track was set on Oppedahl’s, and Sugarbush. Skate conditions are excellent, some of the classic tracks are not up to our usual standard the rest are great, The base is still holding up well with 6-12 inches.

Anchor and roller coaster. The classic tracks were mostly ice, will be fast and treacherous down hill till it warms up (probably OK by noon). Groomed plans are to attempt to reset the Classic tracks early Saturday morning hoping for find that golden hour when we can set good tracks for the weekend but the warm temperatures make setting good tracks very tricky. Skating is excellent, classic is a mixed bag, mostly good but the sun exposed areas glaze easily above freezing. Base is holding up well 6-12 inches, no thin spots on the trail.
