NORDIC UPDATE 3/13/17

3/13/2017

::Conditions::
 -New snowfall last 24 hours: 3-4 inches
 ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report::
 -Skate: Bottom of Anchor, Sugarbush Dog Trail, and Jolly Long.
 -Classic: tracked: Bottom of Anchor, Sugarbush Classic, top part of Dog Trail, and Telford.

Comments: There was 3-4 inches of new snow which help a lot but it’s still a mixed bag at best. There are some spots with glare ice, some sticks, and dirt hiding under the new snow. Mixed in with the bad stuff there is some good snow to be skied. So skier beware, use rock skis if you must get in one last ski at Ashwabay this year.

Conditions Update 3/13/17

3/13/2017

The Alpine Area and Tubing Hill are closed for the season.  Thanks for all of the great experiences and fond memories from this past winter!

Stay updated here for Nordic conditions and Fatbike Trails, as they will remain open until conditions deteriorate.

And remember, next year's season passes are on sale now, and our Annual Spring Gear Swap is coming up soon!

NORDIC UPDATE 3/10/17

3/10/2017

::Conditions::
 -New snowfall last 24 hours: trace
 ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report::
 -Skate: Bottom of Anchor, Sugarbush Dog Trail, and parts of Jolly Long.
 -Classic: tracked:

Comments: Bob tried to rejuvenate some of the trails for skating.  There was a lot of debris, and things were pretty icy.  So I would rate what he did groom as poor to fair.  There are thin and bare spots, so use your rock skis if you are brave enough to try them.  Trails that weren't groomed I would rate as not ski-able.
