NORDIC UPDATE 3/17/16

3/17/2016

::Conditions::
 -New snowfall last 24 hours: 3-8 inches
 -Base: ?
 ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report::
 -Skate:
 -Classic: tracked: Sugarbush Classic to the tin shed, Seagull Connector, the top of Seagull, top of Anchor, and Sugarbush Rd from Jolly intersection to the parking lot.

Comments: Steve thought the tracks came out well except for parts of Sugarbush, the better snow being higher up the hill.

Closed for the Season

3/17/2016

We are CLOSED for the season!

Downhill skiing and fatbiking trails are all closed until next winter.  Nordic trails are in very poor shape, but were packed after this most recent snowfall.

Fat Bike Trails Closed

3/13/2016

All Winter Fat Bike Trails Are Closed For The Season

Warm temperatures and rapid melting have rendered the groomed winter trails very soft and vulnerable.  Trails are closed to all users, including foot traffic, until further notice.  Trail openings will be announced as conditions allow.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. We are entering the time of year when the trails are most vulnerable to damage.

Conditions Update 3/12/2016

3/12/2016

Our lifties are piling snow on the ramps, and the lifts will be opening at 9:30 and Spring Carnival events happening all day.   This will be our last day the hill is open, so come get your last runs in!

I watched a bunch of folks head out on the Nordic trails this morning, and the snowpack is holding up well out there!  Looking forward to some cooler temps next week to help keep those trails in shape.

Alpine Update 3/11/2016

3/11/2016

Due to warm weather, we are unsure if our lifts will be operating Saturday.  Keep up to date here, and be sure to come out for Spring Carnival events all day!

We will be closed Sunday through summer.
