NORDIC UPDATE 2/26/17

2/26/2017

::Conditions::
 -New snowfall last 24 hours: about 3 inches
 ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report::
 -Skate: Anchor, Seagull, Roller Coaster, Telford, Jolly Long, and the Sugarbush Dog Trail.
 -Classic: tracked: Anchor, Seagull, Roller Coaster, Telford, Jolly Long, and the Sugarbush Dog Trail.

Comments: With about 3 inches of new, the trails are shaping up well.  They were a hair soft after grooming, and late morning lake effect snow kicked in a bit, so there will be fresh snow on top.

NORDIC UPDATE 2/25/17

2/25/2017

::Conditions::
 -New snowfall last 24 hours: < 1 inch
 ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report::
 -Skate:
 -Classic: tracked: Raven, Deerpath, Black Bear, Oppedahl's, and Birch Hill.

Comments: Raven and Deerpath from Raven to Black Bear had some thin spots, and a couple of bare spots.  The rest of Deerpath, Black Bear, Oppedahl's and Birch Hill had good coverage (maybe 2 small thin spots), and I would rate as in good condition.

Comments: The skate trails are 80% great, 15% good, and 5% thin. The classic is 50% great, 40% good and 5% thin. We need more snow before the classic improve. The Skate lanes are really fast with a nice surface finish.
