Greetings Everyone! We are super excited to share one of our latest projects! A new Nordic Brochure that highlights our trails, mission and activities at Mt. Ashwabay. Super Saturday snow report... It’s another great weekend to get out there and enjoy our beautiful area!!
🄽🄾🅁🄳🄸🄲 🅂🄺🄸:. As of Saturday 9:30 AM at grooming is complete and track is set on all the Skate/Classic trails. New snow ranged from 2-3 inches. Conditions are good with a reasonably firm base. Grooming plans are to set new tracks on the Classic only trail Saturday night 🄵🄰🅃 🄱🄸🄺🄴 About an inch of snow survived the melt/rain. The high moisture snow will set up a pretty firm trail once temperatures return to below freezing. 🄰🄻🄿🄸🄽🄴: all slopes are open & groomed- no NASTAR tomorrow. It's the FriYaY Fun report for the weekend! There is a lot going on at Ashwabay!

NORDIC REPORT: New Trail Signs have been installed! Grooming Report: Thursday Night-- Abbey Road, Jolly, Northern Lights, Skid Road, Telford, and Seagull Connector were groomed with new track set. Conditions are very Good with all trails open and 99% safe for good skis. The trails have great snow cover with a firm pole plant. The summer trail work has left some isolated high spots that are now mostly showing up as thin spots in the classic tracks but easily avoided. Friday morning grooming plans include: Anchor, Seagull, and Buzz. Friday PM all the Classic only trails will be groomed with new track set. The weekend will be great skiing. (photos are from this morning) FAT BIKE: Conditions are excellent!!! Trail is firm & PSI could be around 4, but varies with rider weight, etc. If you're a newbie... it's safe to say, if you are punching through the top crust- you should take out some air. #protip ! ALPINE: All slopes and lifts are open. MADski begins this weekend & registration is full! If you are interested in volunteering to assist our instructors- email [email protected] Events: MADski: Starting 1/9; Saturdays 10-Noon; registration full! (Youth Learn to ski and snowboard program). Youth Nights: starting 1/22 Friday night $15 lift, free rental, Bart Transport from Ashland & Washburn with reservation. Summit Nordic race Feb 6! Get training! https://ashwabaysummitskirace.com Nordic: All of the Skate has been groomed overnight (except the Cut-off-to Seagull). The Buzz was groomed and the track was set. The rest of the classic tracks skied really well yesterday. 40kms of groomed skate & classic trails available!
Alpine: All Trails Groomed 100% open, 2person lift open, handle tow open. Fat Bike Trails: Conditions are firming up. Still low PSI (3-2 psi) is recommended. If you are struggling let some air out. 6km trails (12km out and back). Alpine Update 1/2/21
