NORDIC UPDATE 2/22/16

::Co​nditions:: 
 -New snowfall last 24 hours: <1 inch
 -Base: 14-16 inches 
 ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report:: 
 -Skate: Rollercoaster
 -Classic: tracked: Sugarbush Classic from the trailhead to the cabin.

Comments: With the new dusting of snow, I think most of the trails should ski as good to very good conditions.

 -Skate: Anchor, Jolly Long, Seagull, and Telford.
 -Classic: tracked: Anchor, Jolly Long, Seagull, Telford, Raven, Deerpath, Black Bear, Oppedahl's, Birch Hill, Jolly Connector, Seagull Connector, and Sugarbush.

Comments: Rollercoaster didn't get groomed, so best to avoid it as probably a bit icy.

Lloyd is out grooming the hill right now, and it appears to be shaping up nicely!  Icy patches will be minimal.

The Volunteers have been hard at work, and grooming operations may be on-going, so be aware. Equipment may be moving around the slopes. Please take care, and always ski/board under control.
::Alpine Conditions::
 -New snowfall (last 48hrs) 0 inches
 -Base: 12-28 inches variable, machine groomed this morning
 -Chairlift and Rope-tow both open
 -All 65+ acres of Downhill is OPEN
​ ::Freestyle Terrain::
 -Volunteer and Crew have worked hard to set up an awesome jump in the terrain park, and have been setting boxes, rails, and other features on Little Willie beside the Rope-tow. If you'd like to help, please ask Hill Operations.

No ice formed overnight, so the hill is still in great shape and we will be open today!  

Please keep in mind that the snow is soft and thin or bare spots may form as folks ski. Ski Patrol will be keeping an eye out and marking any hazards as they appear.
