-New snowfall last 24 hours: 6-8 inches ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report:: -Skate: Anchor, Sugarbush Dog Trail (no track out to the Jolly cut-off), Jolly Long, Anchor, Seagull, Rollercoaster, and Telford. -Classic: tracked: Anchor, Sugarbush Dog Trail(no track out to the Jolly cut-off), Jolly Long, Anchor, Seagull, Rollercoaster, Telford. and Sugarbush Classic. Comments: The trails that were groomed are in good shape, except for the first part of the dog trail until Jolly meets it. This got torn up a little with some equipment issues. The other classic only trails are cleared now, but need to be packed and freeze down before they are very skiable. ::Conditions::
-New snowfall last 24 hours: 2-3 inches ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report:: -Skate: Anchor, Sugarbush Dog Trail, Jolly Long, Anchor, Seagull, Seagull Classic, Rollercoaster, Telford. -Classic: tracked: Sugarbush Classic. Comments: The skate trails are starting to smooth out, still early season conditions, but would upgrade rating to good. We tracked and groomed the skate trails, with full depth tracks most places but a few thin spots. Sugarbush Classic is still a bit thin, so ski it with caution. ::Conditions::
-New snowfall last 72 hours: 6-12 inches ::Volunteer Groomer Activity Report:: -Skate: Anchor, Sugarbush Dog Trail, Jolly Long, Anchor, Seagull, Rollercoaster, Telford. -Classic: tracked: Sugarbush Classic. Comments: The low areas of Jolly Long received around 6-8 inches of snow so far, leaving the base a little thin in spots. As you go higher there is more snow, so up on the top of Seagull there probably has been around 12 inches of snow. The volunteers have been busy clearing trees, brush and branches from the rain/snow storm. The trails listed above have been rolled 2 times, then packed with the ginzu groomers. This has left a bit of an uneven surface, but there is enough snow for there to be fair skiing in most areas. We haven't set any tracks yet. |
