Conditions on the Hill are shaping up nicely. We have gotten about a foot of natural snow, and our volunteer snowmaking team is working around the clock, and has put in well over 100 hours so far.
Unfortunately, the lifts won't be opening this weekend as planned, and we are postponing our opening date until Thursday, December 22nd. Check our calendar for more details! Cross country trails being groomed and tracked regularly, please remember to bring your season pass or pay the fee at the trail entrance! Fat bike trails have not been groomed yet, but we will post updates here as we get them. We are CLOSED for the season!
Downhill skiing and fatbiking trails are all closed until next winter. Nordic trails are in very poor shape, but were packed after this most recent snowfall. Happy Holidays from Mt Ashwabay! The Chairlift and Rope-tow are OPEN today Dec 27 with a flurry of new snow yesterday. The snow-base is still thin, so be cautious. Hope everyone had a joyous Christmas! Our crew and volunteers are continuing to make snow as conditions allow. We will be opening additional runs as we can. Starting at 12noon, we'll be doing Easter Egg Hunt, Obstacle Course, Uphill Race, Photo Scavenger Hunt, Water Balloon Launch, and everybody's favorite Cardboard Box Race! Come join us for a great Spring Day! The slopes are in great shape for skiing and snowboarding at Mt Ashwabay. We've got lots of fun events in March, with some great spring skiing.
