I took my classic skis out on The Buzz today, Tuesday, 1/4.
I skied the trail yesterday and it was in the best shape of the season so far.
Today I was disappointed that operator error had ruined the classic tracks.
I was surprised that The Buzz skating lane was even groomed today, as it will most likely have to be groomed again after tonight's predicted snowstorm.
The bummer was that whoever groomed the skate lanes kept crossing over into the classic lanes and completely burying the inside classic track for several meters at a time and at times burying both classic tracks. A pulled groin is one thing, having the tracks disappear at the bottom of a hill with a curve is another. Can you give me assurance that your skate grooming will not harm the classic tracks going forward?
Thanks,
Jeff

Thank you for your input. Our volunteer groomers work hard to provide the best possible skiing experience. It is unfortunate that the trails did not meet your expectations. There will be times that conditions will not be as great as they could be. Thank you for coming and using the Ashwabay trails. If you would like we are always looking for more volunteer groomers.
