Downhill Opener Dec 20, 2014

Tomorrow's the big day! We're opening the chairlift and ropetow 9:30-4:30 for the season. 
>>Here's the update on conditions from Volunteer groomer Lloyd Turner: 
"It's looking a lot better than I expected it would. Portway turned out really good, Little Joe is skiable, but D4 is sketchy on the steep but the bottom is ok. The beginner/terrain park will be good. Looks like we should be able to open on Saturday, Might have to close off D4 though. Not really enough time to make enough snow to cover it. Don't bring your good skis just yet, and no hard slalom turns or you'll be in the dirt. Keep it nice and smooth and you'll be OK."
